1. Who we are

Popd is a trading platform being built for Popmart collectors. Our website is located at popd.trade. If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact us at hello@popd.trade.

2. What information we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your general location (country or US state)
• Which Popmart characters you collect

When you submit a figure suggestion, we collect:

• The character or series name you suggest
• Any additional notes you choose to include

We do not collect any payment information, phone numbers, or precise location data at this stage.

3. Why we collect it

We collect this information for one reason only — to contact you when Popd launches and to understand what our community of collectors actually wants from the platform. That's it.

4. How we store your data

Your data is stored securely by Netlify, our hosting provider. Netlify uses AES-256 encryption for data at rest and in transit, and is compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and ISO 27001. You can read Netlify's security policy at netlify.com/security.

5. How long we keep your data

We will keep your data until Popd launches and you create an account, at which point your waitlist data will be deleted. If Popd does not launch, we will delete all waitlist data within 12 months of this policy date. You can also ask us to delete your data at any time — see Section 7.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access — ask us what data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct any inaccurate data
• Deletion — ask us to delete your data at any time
• Portability — ask us to send you a copy of your data
• Withdrawal — withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing

These rights apply to all users regardless of where you are based. If you are based in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional legal rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively.

7. How to delete your data

Simply email us at hello@popd.trade with the subject line "Delete my data" and we will remove your information within 7 days and confirm when it's done.

8. Cookies

Our waitlist page does not currently use any tracking cookies or third party analytics. We do not track your behaviour on the site.

9. Children's privacy

Popd is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted their data through our form, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make any significant changes to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, if you are on our waitlist, we will email you to let you know.
